Natur- Und Wohlfühlhotel Kastenholz

I would like to thank Ms.Metzen, Ms.Popow, Ms.Nicola and all the personel that made our stay unforgettable. We decided to organize our business event in Kastenholz for 5 days. We booked 2 meeting rooms and 14 rooms. The view from my room was amazing and the bed very comfortable. The only problem there was that one light was not working and the internet did not get to my room. Regarding breakfast, amazing variety and tasty options, very fresh. For lunch I had some preferences, I loved the barbecue as well as the 3 meal courses. When it came to the buffets I found the variety a little simple. We had 2 days noodles, potatoes and diferent sauces. I would have included a meat option in the menu. Coffee breaks were nice, with cake or pastries included. Only twice we waited a little bit for coffee, but it was fine as we were flexible on our schedule. As of the meeting rooms, good space with a small terrace area. The main problem was the internet connection, which was very slow at some points, this made hard for the participants to work. The Kegel space was small but cozy, we all fitted, in total 14 people. Last remark is that the shower in the room took a while to get warm, sometimes I needed to wait for 10 min for the water to get warm, which is not that sustainable. All in all I really enjoyed my stay, specially the swimming pool area and the nice and helpful service. I definetely recommend it!

The food was delicious, I am not the fish lover but I have finished the whole plate of the Zanderfilet, it's fresh and tastes very good. The Rissoto as well. I like their breakfast which have a fresh juice bar, you can make your own vegetables and fruit juice. If you are doing any special dietary, here you can find a lot of things to eat like the kento bread and natural food. I like the fresh made natuella! They have a lot of the wellness activities which you can sign up. Good place to spend less one week detoxing your body and mind. I believe you will get inspired and peaceful from here. You can feel the positive energy from the natural environment. Also, it is a good place for team building and F&F gathering. All the staff there are very friendly and nice. Last but not least, you have to try the crystal water which their place in the lobby area. I like the pink crystal water, which is good for the skin!

Take time to appreciate the sauna! The hotel is big, pittoresque and staff is friendly. The sauna/wellness space is open to guests in the afternoon and evening. Help yourself to lovely tea and we'll being tips in the large living space. The rooms are slightly dated but are comfortable and clean. Plenty of hiking in the area, the staff can provide maps. The restaurant serves hearty meals. All in all great, casual friendly vibes.

So, I stayed in hotel for 3 days, so would like leave a comment. My sister in law booked room for me , cause of my poor German language. First impression, my sister in law said to me, that the reception lady was extreme polite and friendly. As i came, think the reception lady name was Sonja, lady with glasses and short brown hair, really polite !!! :) As i came that night in restaurant, the nice man (think he is manager or waiter lead) greeted me personally with smile. I was served by very nice waitress with blond short hair and (i think) one Filipina waitress. As a person who works very long time in gastronomy, and worked on a cruise ship all over the world , can say, that i NEVER saw so professional , yet friendly staff. Even when i ordered food to my room, manager personally offered to bring it with me. Also when i came in closing hours in hotel and wanted last drink, blond waitress ( who was ending her long shift) happily made it for me. And last night was late for dinner , cause I overslept, and yet i was served a full dinner. What a service and hotel!!!!! Certainly coming again!!!! I give this hotel rather 50 stars rather then 5. :) thank you for your hard work!!!!
